Tackle the most common signs of ageing around the eyes with the Intelligent Retinol Eye TR from Medik8. Formulated with an easily tolerated concentration of time-release Vitamin A, which is gradually released into the skin throughout the night to help minimise irritation, this impressive serum helps to speed up the skin’s natural renewal processes to minimise the appearance of fine lines, dark circles and uneven pigmentation. Added antioxidants further improve the tone and structure of the skin, while the quick-drying texture of the serum makes this an effortless evening step in any routine. Suitable for all skin types, apply a small amount to clean skin around the eyes every other evening for two weeks. After this time, gradually increase the frequency of application until it is applied nightly. Please note that the bottle for this product has a capacity of 10ml however as this product is 7ml it may appear as though some product is missing but this is not the case

Smooth a small amount underneath the eyes and along the brow bone using fingertips after cleansing in the evening.For the first two weeks, apply every other evening before gradually increasing the frequency of application until it is applied every evening.

How to use in your skincare routine?

It can be used underneath moisturiser and sunscreen in the morning [if it’s a vitamin E oil] and is sometimes combined with other antioxidants, such as Vitamin C in Serums.

Best suited for those with dry, very dry, or mature skin.

Avoid using if you have very oily, acne prone skin or those prone to sensitivity.

Vitamin A / Retinol plays a bunch of key roles in the body, and it’s essential when it comes to the health of your skin. It’s involved in the production of fresh, new cells, which keeps your skin both functioning and looking its best.

Vitamin A contains retinoids, compounds that come in many forms such as:

How to use in your skincare routine?

We recommend them as part of a nightly skin care routine, when most people don’t mind adding an extra step or two. But it’s also fine to use Vitamin A / Retinol in the daytime, as long as you finish with a broad-spectrum sunscreen rated SPF 30 or greater.
