AboutSensitive Skin

Sensitive skin reacts more easily than most. It may sting with certain products, flush in the heat or feel tight and itchy after cleansing. Often the cause is a weakened skin barrier, which lets irritants in and moisture out, but sensitivity can also go hand in hand with dryness, redness or eczema-prone skin.

Building a gentle routine

Choose a cream or lotion cleanser and lukewarm water.
Look for soothing ingredients such as panthenol, niacinamide, ceramides and oat.
Keep the number of products low and avoid strong fragrance.
Patch test new products on the jawline or behind the ear first.
Use a mineral SPF every morning.
