Vital Assist, a gentler way to use vitamin A

Vital Assist was developed by Dr Don Owen and Owen Biosciences around glyceryl diretinoate (GDR), an advanced retinoid. GDR and retinol are wrapped in a phospholipid layer that releases them gradually, so skin gets the benefits of vitamin A with less of the dryness and irritation retinoids can cause.

The routine is simple. In the morning, cleanse with Daily Probiotic Cleanser, apply Complex C Serum, then Daily Essential Hydrator and SPF. In the evening, cleanse, apply Vitamin Repair Serum and finish with Cellular Renewal Cream, introducing it two or three nights a week at first. Vitamin A products are not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

AboutVital Assist

Vital Assist was created by Dr Don Owen and the team at Owen Biosciences to make vitamin A easier to live with. Its Cellular Renewal Cream uses glyceryl diretinoate (GDR) and retinol wrapped in a phospholipid layer, which releases vitamin A gradually so skin gets the benefits with less of the dryness and irritation retinoids can cause.

The five-step routine works as a whole. In the morning, cleanse with Daily Probiotic Cleanser, then apply Complex C Serum, Daily Essential Hydrator and SPF. In the evening, cleanse, apply Vitamin Repair Serum and finish with Cellular Renewal Cream, starting two or three nights a week. Vitamin A products are not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
